Landlady Gloria is a young psychologist who has decided not to give up her passion for gardening and her love of welcoming guests into her home, which is why she opens her country house to visitors who want to spend a few days savouring the peace and quiet of the surrounding woods, only 5 km from the historic town of Asti and 2 km from the Asti-West exit of the Turin-Piacenza motorway.
The house nestles in a nature reserve five minutes' walk from the "Valleandona and Vale Botta" Palaeontology Park, and visitors can enjoy the scenery on horseback, thanks to the many riding stables in the area, or by mountain bike. Meals are not only generous but above all natural - all the produce on Gloria's table is organic, fresh from her orchard and vegetable garden, or from the cows and chickens of the friendly neighbouring farmers. If you're a wine lover, a visit is a must. Not only will Gloria be able to point you to all the region's best cellars (she's a member of a wine-producers' association), but in honour of your arrival she'll be pleased to welcome you with a taste of the wines grown around Asti and Alba that are usually reserved for the producers' close friends.
